At One Life at a Time, our mission is to inspire hope and provide unwavering support to individuals actively recovering from substance use disorders. We are dedicated to breaking down barriers to treatment and fostering better relationships with healthcare providers and family members. Our goal is to serve as a crucial stepping stone on the path to sustained wellness and success.

who we are
Founded in 2008, One Life at a Time is a woman-owned-and-operated organization based in Braintree, Massachusetts. Our team of professional counselors and coaches brings years of experience to individuals struggling with recovery. We launched our Day Treatment PHP/IOP Program in the fall of 2024, tailoring our services to meet each individual’s unique needs.
Meet Chris O’Neil
I embraced the rewarding journey of adoption, welcoming two remarkable kids into my life when they were nearly 15 and 14 and a half. Now adults, they both faced their own challenges in recovery while under the care of DCF. Witnessing their struggles to access treatment opened my eyes to the systemic issues at play, including the frustrating cycle of the spin dry effect. Motivated by a desire for change and a commitment to doing things the right way, I established PHP and IOP programs to provide the support and care that truly makes a difference.
